Ian is an abstract artist based in Harlem, NY. His paintings and mixed media works explore the intersections of the African American and Latino experience in the United States, and his Dominican heritage. 

 

Born and raised in Washington Heights, he draws inspiration from spiritual philosophies and cultural perspectives. He weaves symbols, faces, and words into his art to narrate his lived reality.

 

Through his work, Ian aims to evoke dialogue about identity, resilience, and the shared human experience, offering a powerful lens into the complexities of belonging and self-expression.
